Custom UV Printing Services

XYW provides custom UV printing services for brands, businesses, product suppliers, and creative projects that need sharp, durable, and professional printing on a wide range of surfaces.

Whether you need one-off customization, sample proofing, small-batch production, or bulk custom UV printing, XYW can help you turn your design into high-quality printed products.

What Is UV Printing?

UV printing is a digital printing process that uses ultraviolet light to cure ink directly on the product surface. Unlike traditional printing methods that rely on ink absorption or air drying, UV printing allows the ink to dry almost instantly after being printed.

This makes UV printing suitable for many hard and flat materials, including acrylic, plastic, metal, wood, glass, leather, PVC, packaging boards, and selected coated surfaces.

For projects that require detailed graphics, full-color artwork, personalization, or printing on hard surfaces, UV printing can often be more flexible than screen printing or heat transfer printing.

Custom UV Printing for Your Products

Every product has different surface properties, thickness, color, coating, and usage requirements. That is why our custom UV printing service begins with a review of your material, artwork, print size, and final application.

We can support custom UV printing for:

  • Acrylic displays

  • Plastic products

  • Metal tags and plates

  • Wooden items

  • Glass products

  • Signs and display boards

  • Custom product branding

  • Personalized merchandise

Before production, our team checks whether the surface is suitable for UV ink adhesion and whether any pre-treatment, coating, or alternative printing method is needed.

UV Printing Processes We Offer

UV DTF Printing

Not every product can be placed easily on a flatbed printer. Some items are curved, irregular, small, or already assembled. In these cases, UV DTF printing services can offer more flexibility.

UV DTF printing creates a printed transfer that can be applied to selected hard surfaces.

UV DTF is useful when you want a colorful logo or design on a product shape that is difficult to print directly. However, it is not automatically the best choice for every surface. Adhesion, texture, coating, and long-term use still need to be checked before production.

At XYW, we compare direct UV printing and UV DTF printing based on your actual product, not just the artwork.

UV Flatbed Printing

UV flatbed printing is ideal for flat or slightly raised products. The product is placed on the printer bed, and the artwork is printed directly onto the surface.

The advantage of UV flatbed printing is direct application. There is no transfer film or extra carrier layer between the artwork and the product surface. This helps create a clean, professional look, especially for signs, panels, packaging, and display products.

For flat products that require sharp details, full-color artwork, or accurate logo placement, UV flatbed printing is usually the first method we evaluate.

UV Coating Printing

Some products need more than printed color. They also need a better surface effect. UV coating printing can help improve gloss, color depth, and surface appearance on suitable materials.

A UV coating may be used when the product needs:

  • A glossy finish

  • A more premium visual effect

  • Better surface smoothness

  • Enhanced color brightness

  • Extra protection for printed graphics

UV coating is often used for packaging, labels, display graphics, printed panels, cards, and decorative products. It can make the printed surface look more polished and retail-ready.

Before recommending UV coating, we check the base material, ink compatibility, required finish, and whether the final product needs flexibility, scratch resistance, or visual enhancement.

UV Lamination Printing

UV lamination printing is used when the printed surface needs an added protective layer or a specific finish. It can help improve resistance to handling, light scratches, moisture, or surface wear, depending on the material and lamination type.

Not every UV-printed product needs lamination. In many cases, direct UV printing is already enough. But when the product will be touched often, shipped frequently, or used as retail packaging, UV lamination may be worth considering.

We will help you decide whether lamination adds real value or only adds unnecessary cost.

UV Printing vs. Screen Printing

UV printing and screen printing are both useful, but they are suitable for different project needs.

UV printing is often better for full-color artwork, detailed graphics, hard-surface products, small-batch customization, and designs that change frequently.

Screen printing is often better for bulk production with simple designs, solid colors, and repeated artwork, especially on apparel, bags, and selected flat products.

For plastic and metal products, both methods may be possible depending on the design, surface, and durability requirements. XYW can help you compare both options before production.

UV Printing vs. Heat Transfer Printing

UV printing is mainly used for hard surfaces such as acrylic, plastic, metal, wood, glass, and packaging materials. It prints directly onto the product surface or uses UV DTF transfer for selected applications.

Heat transfer printing is more commonly used for apparel, fabric products, uniforms, sportswear, and personalized names or numbers.

If your project involves hard materials, product branding, signs, gifts, or packaging, UV printing is often the better option. If your project involves fabric or garments, heat transfer printing may be more suitable.

Quality Control in Our UV Printing Process

Good UV printing depends on more than the printer itself. Material compatibility, surface preparation, artwork quality, ink adhesion, print position, curing, and finishing all affect the final result. At XYW, we focus on:

Material Review

We check the product material, surface texture, coating, color, thickness, and intended use before confirming the printing method.

Artwork Checking

We review file resolution, color requirements, fine details, print size, and placement to reduce production errors.

Sample Proofing

Before bulk production, we can provide sample proofing so you can check the print effect, color, position, and surface finish.

Printing Control

During production, we pay attention to print alignment, color consistency, ink coverage, and curing quality.

Final Inspection

Finished products are checked for clarity, adhesion, surface appearance, and overall quality before packing.
